Setting Up PDF Files to Submit Online

I am setting up a PDF file and I'm wonding if it is possible for these pdf forms to be filled out online and then submited to the owners via e-mail?

I don't see any tutorials on this. I ususally do a general form, but the client wants to stick to pdf.

Thanks,
Mike

Do you have Adobe Acrobat? Not Acrobat Reader but the full blown version that costs $300+. If you do open the PDF file then create the form fields and use a form submit button on it. You will need for it to ineract with some type of script. You cannot do this without Adobe Acrobat.

Standard Version

Professional Version

PDF Forms info

Do you plan to just email the results? Or do you plan to include the actual PDF in the email. The process is VERY different based on both scenerios. Attaching the PDF is more difficult because it will require a third party component or for you to build a custom component to alter or create a PDF file. Not too difficult. The options will vary depending on the programming language. Will you be using PHP, ASP, ASP.NET, etc?

Yes I use adobe professional... The most appropriate way would be the total PDF filled out to be e-mailed.. I would use php..

If it is is going to take me some time to learn and setup I would rather just create a database for the form to filter into as I am good with that.
