I wanted to make my site appear friendly and and with a personal touch when visitors view it. I dont know if others think I have done this, also any other input is appreciated as well. What do you think when you first veiw it. I would like any and all thoughts on this.

The copy really does need rewriting before you launch it mate.

"We want to thank you for stopping by and taking the time to look at what we have to offer. Hostinginnovators.com thinks you will be impressed by our high standards and quality of service."

Don't mix 1st person and 3rd person.

Other than the copy, it's alright - too obviously Frontpage for my liking though.

What do you mean first and third its supposed to sound like a company. Any input go ahead.

dunno, just think it sounds weird talking about urself like that in the third person.

it's like "Hostinginnovators.com thinks you will be impressed by our high standards and quality of service" as though hosting innovators is some outside company.

Only my opinion though.

Well think of it the way a customer that knows nothing about it and not as a webmaster although I suppose that counts to lol. I think I read on the seo forum that including your url throughout page helps somehow. Maybe someone could verify that. But i would like some other input as well.

Yea, I agree with Davey. <blunt>Doc, you can't just start a hosting company, you will definately fail. I'm serious about this - your website is "not good" and you will never suceed with this type of company. </blunt>

Not bad for your first try. I agree w/Davey's point and think you should maybe consider something like replacing "Hostinginnovators.com thinks ...", with the words 'We think' ...

Hmmm I wonder what some seo thinks but I guess I better post that in that forum. I appreciate the input so far besides the negative thinking which was not appreciated. Please go ahead though and post any other comments on what I mentioned. I would like hear what some others say.

It's spelled MySQL, not MYSql.

Little thing, but it makes it look more professional.

You asked; I'm warning you. If you do not want to listen then fine, I don't care. That's your problem. And by the way, if you don't report taxes with your little hosting company, you can be in serious trouble.

You possible could use 1st person when talking about the company. Might be more personalized, unless unless your trying for that professional feel that bigger companies go for.

Example: www.v7inc.com , John Scott adds the personalized feel into his hosting company by posting his pic (not always a good thing) :-p .. and writing about why he started such company.

SN3: reporting taxes can get ya in more trouble too,

trust me, I'm still doing mine :/

not saying its a good thing, but if he never files a DBA, the IRS has a hard time finding a company even exists. Since you don't need a DBA when doing business through paypal, its ok. Now if you were to accept checks, banks require the DBA.

Would yall mind rewriting that as to what you mean by that. Atleast part of it and post it here. Then maybe some others can post as well. What do you think of design so far as layout and the fealing you get when you first look at it. Try not to get into the technical side to much on this point please.

I am not going to rewrite mine as I feel that it is easily discernable, but I will comment with some initial impressions that I get when I look at the homepage.

Simple, to the point, friendly.
