Adjusting white space between lines

Im trying to figure out a way to be able to modify the white space height between lines when using the <p> or <br> tags. I realise this can be achieved when working with the style attribute, but in my circumstance this cant be used. To be more specific, I want to shorten the white space height between a normal text line and a form which is located directly beneath.

Any help would be appreciated.

You can use em, & % too.

i usually make an empty table cell of whatever height i want it between the text and whatever i wanna space it from. this is probably the worst way to do it, but works for me

Set the padding,margin, border of the form to zero.
