Microsoft Frontpage help

I am trying to use frontpage to edit my website, but it doesn't allow me to log into my files when I try to open my web site in frontpage. Me and my host were working on the problem for over an hour and can't figure it out, we reinstalled, uninstalled and installed the Frontpage extentions about 10 times and he had me trying all kinds of things that still didn't work. I went to microsofts official website to try and contact them, but they are impossible to get information from without paying them more money, does anyone have any idea what is wrong and how can I fix it.

What do you mean by "it doesn't allow me to log into my files when I try to open my web site in frontpage"?

I should be able to log in. When I go to it something that asks for my name and password should popup (same name and password from cpanel.) But nothing comes up. It's odd because it works on other sites, but it tells me my site doesn't have Frontpage Extentions installed.

Unhappy Are you his first customer?

Your isp will have to set up frontpage extentions

Also if he is running iis6 (which I kinda doubt) have him check the box that says "parent paths" for you in the home panel of the ism. It will help you run some older scripts without doing a include re-write.

To find out what this guy has is running on the server download the attached file, unzip it, upload it to your site than run it in your browser.

Try going in using web folders, it may be a corrupt copy of FP, (browsing the warez sites ....lol)

"my network places" "add a network place" follow the wizard
