I'm using WP, but I also really like concrete5. It's not as popular as it should be.

It's good to see some interesting views but I have to say I love working with Joomla.
It makes things easy to understand (after a little learning curve) and there are plenty of plugins out there to use for your website.

I create a lot of e-commerce websites at work and Joomla with the Virtuemart plugin make it easy for me.

I still have to try Wordpress but I don't want to go out of my way when Joomla does everything I need it do to.

It's more simple to design and manage than Wordpress. I still prefer wp, but I think it has great potential. You should give it a try.

Wordpress for most of my content sites (article sites, blogs, presentations etc.). MyBB for the forums I run. And I kinda start liking openCart for a shopping cart option. Used to work with oscommerce, but, since working with a client on a project of his, I might change the option.

It's weird that I never really think of forum software as being a kind of CMS. I'm so used to hearing to the term associated with blogging (Wordpress, Drupal).

WordPress for me. Does everything I need and more, plus it has a huge user base so there's always a solution just around the corner for practically anything I want to do :-)

I run a site which uses SkyBlueCanvas, although it's a site I've inherited from someone else—I would go with WordPress everytime. SkyBlueCanvas is pretty good; nice and lightweight and I'd recommend it as a simple solution for small sites, although it's not great from an SEO point of view as it doesn't create search engine friendly URLs. There are plugins available which may do the job, but I haven't checked them out.

I have successfully wrote a few templates for Zen Cart, though I am still not overly fond of the way it is designed as far as their templates go I can't complain to much about the program, I have also done a few for Presta Shop, I am really not fond of how it is set up either though it is workable too...I am in the process of changing from paypal pro as a payment gateway and moving over to authorize.net and they give a list of suggested and approved ecommerce programs and Zen Cart is listed, so I am most likely going to be doing a majority of e-commerce sites using it and just add the added functionality such as java and ajax myself when needed...btw that is the only thing I think Presta shop has to offer that zen doesn't is the ready built in ajax handling not a huge reason to switch right off, just a time and convenience thing I suppose....

I have been really enjoying ExpressionEngine lately, and have been able to rapidly launch a few custom apps on the platform with good success. There are some odd aspects to the platform/model, the core tags are interesting, and the premium modules are far more prevalent than free ones, but overall I think it's very powerful. A brilliant co-developer of mine swears by concrete 5, but I haven't had time to use it as of yet.

I've tried word press and joomla before. I must say the learning curve for joomla was much higher for me. The concepts was quite difficult to grasp initially.

For wordpress, it was pretty straightforward where you can place pages into categories and then attached them to a menu. The user interface is much cleaner as well.
