What Are Your Tips for writing HTML Websites?

1. Keep your HTML validated. Use one <h1> tag that describes the page.
2. Don't include styles into your HTML elements (use a CSS file instead)
3. Use Tables for tabular data and divs for the rest.

Any more?

Only after learning the correct way to code, text editor + html files, should you even consider using something like dreamweaver.

This way, you learn the essential fundamentals, because when it comes down to it virtually any website can be coded using a simple text editor.

If you do it the opposite way and learn using Dreamweaver or another IDE, you are doing yourself a disservice.

Those are great tips. What type of tips would you give to people who are new to HTML? What tips would you give someone to make sure his HTML website was designed correctly.
