phpbb - No post mode specified?

This is from another forum I admin.

Does anyone know what this means and how I can fix it?

is what is displayed with my copy of mozilla firebird from the board anytime i try to post or reply.

and if i try to send a PM over it it acts like it sent it ok but it never appears in the sent folder. so im hoping this isnt a dupe send using IE haha

humm I have never heard of it, it seems like it might be a odd problem, try posting it at PHPBBhacks.com I am sure they will know.

Something similar happened to mine too like that.

Usually just a small problem anywayz.

When your posting a message if you look at the URL above you will see something like this.


?mode=reply&t=2441 after the posting.php script. This tells the script what to do with the information it recives. Hence the mode of reply and the topic of 2441 so its saying that this message is a reply to the topic numbered 2441.

If these variables dont get passed to the script then you will encounter the "no post mode specified" error.
