Batch Video Watermarking

This isn't directly related to web design, but I'll post this here anyway because I couldn't find a good (and free) prog to do this.

So I have a few hundred video clips and I want to add a transparent gif containing my website URL to the bottom-right corner of the video clips.

Anyone know any good programs that would do the trick?

I'm also looking for a program that would join a 5 sec long video clip to the beginning of all my hundreds of video clips.

I`ve also been looking for this and can't find something.

I was advised to embed my 'ad' before the movie played and then play the movie next.

Something like Windows Movie Maker should do the job, otherwise - i'd probably do this:

Output the entire movie into frames, impose each image with the logo, then re-encode the movie and sound back together again.

Tools: mplayer, mencoder, imagemagick.

Although I am pretty sure that mencoder has some image imposition stuff, i can't recall it exactly.

I think both VirtualDub and Flask presently provide the ability to apply watermarks/logos to a video file.

If you decide to buy something, spend the bucks and buy Cleaner XL, it has your batch features that make life MUCH easier

I tried out VirtualDub and it seemed to be just what I was looking for. The only thing that wasn't too good was that it didn't support wmv files, and ofcourse all my files are in wmv format. But I belive I can work it out somehow with VirtualDub.

Okay, so I didn't get VirtualDub to work with wvm files. I think it's possible to do it with VirtualDub also, but I'm not sure.

Cleaner XL is even better than VirtualDub. It has an inbuilt watermark feature also. The whole software seems very complex tho.

For all you others who want to do batch video watermarking, I recommend you to try out Cleaner XL, it does the task nicely.

I use a mac and final cut. Which does everything you want. (and a lot more) Sorry final cut isn't made of windows.
If you made the video's SWF adding water marks and other "click here to go to" is so easy.

I don't know if/how to post an opener I made with just jpg's and sound effects. to show you how easy it is.
