logo in the url and favorites.

This may seem like the dummest question ever. But how do you get your logo in the url and favorites atleast it shows in ie anyways. Could someone fill me in i feel stupid

First, create a 16x16 image and save as an .ico (icon file)

If using Photoshop, you need the ICO plug-in.

Save it as favicon.ico

Then in your head in the html, add this code :

Thanks now that makes some sense i was just like i cannot believe i dont know how to do this. i just saw it on v7n and was like wow.

Or, save the graphic as a gif or jpg (size doesn't matter) then use this online favicon maker - http://www.chami.com/html-kit/services/favicon/

Yeah, you can just import a photo onto one of those online things and it'll make it a .ico file for you. just do a google search for "favicon generator"
