You can have Photoshop convert your design to HTML but it puts out awful coding. You could still use the conversion to get the images and then code the page yourself.

you can use sitegrinder, but it creates tonnes of code. Again to use sitegrinder you may have to learn a bit. Better learn html then follow any of the online tutorial to convert psd to html

Yes seriously.
Some designers build the look of the page(s) in a graphics program to present to the client. Once the design is approved the coding begins.

I have never heard of programs that'll do that for you so i like seeing these options above. Still, I'd rather have someone do it for me than spend days of my time learning something I will never be an expert on. I like to create ideas, delegate, and deploy. If I start working on the technique, that'll destoy my creativity.
But that's just how I look at it

sitegrinder is a plugin for photoshop that works decently. But the best, at least for me, is still to cut everything out from photoshop and then hand code the html/css.

We can do it manually by using photoshop..were the effective tool is "slice" tool.
it helps us in a easy way to slice our PSD file to html depending upon our need to wit a better coding..

I've used Sitegrinder before but it does add lots of code. I don't know of any other software out there.

Better you do it manually through Dreamweaver/Front Page or hire some designer.

From the beginning, I have always done slicing in Photoshop and exported all of that XHTML content into Dreamweaver which is probably the easiest way.
I never heard of SiteGrinder until now and after some looking I think it is a good investment in the long time. I wish it was cheaper than $250 though.

More often you will need to do it manually like creating a mock up first of your design and then slicing them up first and creating a CSS style sheet for your site. Doing it manually is a better choice than those conversion software for PSD to HTML because sometimes the conversion is quite a little bit of messy thou and you don't have control of it on how to sliced it up.
study html and css, then use dreamweaver to build the code,, lots of tuts from the internet like lynda.com, vtc, etc. good luck!

I think its better to convert it from Dreamweaver according to your own will as you like.
