Hi!

I would like to get deeper in the topic of Theming for Wordpress 3.1
What books can you recommend?

I found so much stuff @amazon but i would like to hear your experienced opinion

A wealth of free information about Theming for WordPress can be found at http://codex.wordpress.org/Theme_Development. When it comes to WordPress 3.1, most people start out making a Child Theme from their new Twenty Eleven Theme.

FYI, current wordpress version is 3.3.2 and they are in beta testing phase of WordPress 3.4

Have a look at the latest news: http://wordpress.org/news/2012/04/wordpress-3-3-2/

Make sure you get the beta testing plugin to see what's new in the up and coming version to be able to figure out how to create a theme using the new changes.

You dont need a book, Everything you wish to learn you can find on wordpress codex website. If you know php jquery you can think of something and build it your self (plugin or theme options) if not php jquery expert just google it and you can find alot of resources about anything on wordpress theming.

Word press is the basic CMS of all the times. It has been widely used by the developers all over the world. Its version has been kept on updating at every regular intervals. There are many resources through which the knowledge regarding the wordpress can be gained. If I am not wrong then I think photoshop courses also provide a good knowledge regarding wordpress.
