How To Make Custom Template For Social Network Website?

Hi there, I am planning to create a social network website. I have the idea but I do not know where to begin.

Most 2.0 websites offer their own template and domain names in which the buyer creates their own social network website. Can't be an original like Facebook with that.

So any help? Thank you so much for your time.

Try using Wordpress mate and install BuddyPress template It's user friendly and very manageable and the design is elegant too.

Thanks for the reply, Steven. Since I am new to this, I am unsure how different it is when it comes to making a usual personal website compared to making a social networking website.

Is it the same as: A buy a domain name, get a hosting server, build the template and features? That's it?

Or B what I need is a premium social networking software like shown on the web? (can't post URL) They are designed by different companies, I think it will not be originally based on my personal design? I am confused.

I would rather say that go for the option Titan in which you feel comfortable. Looking for more options will keep you confused definitely. Making own website using a wordpress and going for the web hosting service is not a poor thing to do. Moreover wordpress is the basic and easy to use CMS of the all. You can make your website using this CMS as you like.
