and most importantly page loading time

Loading time and the used of colors and designs in the website.

I am also looking for the animation if the site has it.

I look at the design to see if it's "fresh" then Alexa ranking/Page rank and then check out the content/comments.

The theme/display of the site itself. If everything seems jumbled then I immediately move on. After that, I move on to the banner and title. Then to the content.

For me the most important is the User Interface (UI), and the how fast the site is loading (the optimization). Most of the people design a great sites, but don't much care about its optimization and in turn its results into disaster.

There are various things to notice while someone visited a website but first of all the things got noticed are as follows:-

#Loading speed of that website
#Theme and color combination
#Menu options
#Properly navigated or not
#Social plugins are there or not
#Logo and banner combination

And sometimes it depends upon the age of the visitor that how much that visitor is capable to understand these things.

For me the Loading time is the first thing that is notice on the web site. As we know if the sites take too much time to loads then visitor loss their patience and will visit the other files for information. Loading time is on the necessary factors and it will result in less traffic and visitors attractions.

Colors first. Then background. Then header. If I like those 3, which need to be pleasant to my eye, it's most likely I'll stay.

I usually look straight at the banner, navigation and then the content.

A website that lacks an exciting banner, a poor navigational system and boring content is a no-no.

Obviously skimmers will checkout just the basic design, but regular users will always try to see the usability of the website.

For me it's the logo/header image area, and often the colors if they work well together.
The first page I usually visit (assuming I like the look of the site or the content) is the about page.

For me, it's the overall design -- does it look professional, clean, and organized. Of course, I then look to see whether I can easily find what I came to the website for.

For me logo is the first, after banner and menu.

Check this link feng-gui.com and learn more about attention analysis.
