Do you think it would be good if i added a questbook in my site? My site is located at http://www.desktop-designz.com .. I used to have a forum, but that didn't work out!

Also, you guys know any good guestbook scripts, which are simple and plain, and can be modified to my site design?

I like MegaBook. It uses CGI but there was a PHP version that I can't find.

I personally don't think guestbooks are good for design sites. Guestbooks are for like band sites, and personal sites. I think you would be wasting your time with installing one.

I love guestbook. I personal favorite is advanced guestbook. It has everything you need in an awesome interface.

I used to use active guestbook - it worked pretty well. I like guestbooks. Gives people a chance to come in and say hello quickly and easily, and they can give you feedback too. If your forum wasn't active enough to keep the guestbook is definately the way to go.

I eventually coded my own though so I could have messages instantly posted but retain URLs for approvals. I kept getting these ****ing german spammers all the time, it really pissed me off because there'd be these friendly high schoolers with geocities pages and then suddenly some idiot posting in non-english about a .de viagra site. i'm still mad just thinking about it.

Actually, my site isn't about web design anymore. Going to consentrate just on Wallpapers! I would want something that would go nice with my site design. And a small admin panel where i can edit/delete the posts and ban ip's or something!
Let me take a look at those scripts!

I would have to agree that guestbooks should be reserved for sites that are personal or community based. I don't think very good on business sites.
