Anyone used these??? There's so many companies out there and I need one. Would like input from those who have dealt with companies and what you liked and disliked.

I'm looking for a script yes - where customer service can speak to potential clients or current clients on the spot

The company I work for has tried everything going in order for us to spec our own.

It depends very much on what you want... do you want it installed on your own server or hosted? Are there any special features you want? How many operators will be online at any one time?

My favourite is PHP Live!

I pretty much know the product inside out too should you need any help (the support is less than good on most of these products except the top of the range stuff like Live Person)

I've written a few chat scripts over the years. The original reason I started to learn PERL was to write a chat application.

I sure you'd rather go for a free solution though

HMMM...I work for a college that has a call center with 12 employees. They don't all have to be online at once...maybe 2 or 3 assigned. I don't really care if it's hosted on our box or theirs....we have a windows server tho. I'm looking for a recommendation and now i have yours so I'll check this one out.

Well I guess youll have to find a canned solution like what JJ said.

If I were to write you the script it would have to be hosted in a *nix environment.
