frustration sets in

hello again all. once again im in need of some help.

what i need:

a layout that has a header, footer and 3 columns ( left, main, and right )
where the left will hold a nav menu that will open links in the main column, and the right will hold misc. text.
I also need it to resize for different resolutions.

im thinking with an iframe thats placed in the main column that all other content in the other areas will stay put no matter where people navigate to, however im a noob and cant quite work that in as of yet.

as you can see with my existing layout i havent quite found what i need.


im not against starting with a new shell as long as i can reproduce what i have so far and it works the same way. I would rather not use framesets if at all possible.


ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried using Joomla?

It is a free CMS (Content Management System). You can download lots of templates and tweak it to come up with something that will suit your needs.

The two sites in my signature are powered by Joomla.
