GIF Construction Set Pro

How's it goin everyone. I have a question about GIF construction Set Pro. I was just playing around with the program and I came across transitions. (Transitions is a feature that allows your images to roll over automatically, for those who may not know) The problem I came across was the load time takes forever whenever I run a test mode to see how my selected options turn out. I was using jpg pics as well inside of the program. Are there any possible ways to avoid this? Any other programs that would work better? Im concerned because lets say I wanted to use a bunch pics to run like a slideshow on a website in this situation, it would take quite a long time to for the pic to load and it I dont like the test mode I would have to go back to square one, which would take for ever as well. Please help. Thanx

Still not a 100% sure if by transitions you mean animation? How many layers are you working with and how large of a canvas are they? If you can post the file somewhere, I could give you an answer on whether "this is normal", or "not normal". To me, it sounds like something is wrong... and the result is not normal, but that's just an educated guess based on what you described.

Well it also depends on how large the files you are working with are. The more layers/slices/frames you use the larger the file. I have never worked with this program but have you tried testing the file in the way in which you will use it? I know sometimes my flash program takes a long time to load/play it, but it really isn't that way when i save the file and test it in a browser. Maybe you could describe more of what you are using/doing.
