thin rules/border on tables

I can't seem to figure out how to get rules and borders as thin as the they are on this stats table:

http://www.golfweb.com/players/scorecard/460104

they are white on this table, but I've seen them that thin in black as well.

In Dreamweaver, if you specify a border as "1" in the properties panel, they are really fat and I can't figure out how to do with CSS either.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

They didn't use borders there; they utilize cellspacing on a white background.
Code:
<table border="0" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="1">
In dreamweaver, you can utilize that in the code view, or by using the CSS properties on the right.
If you wish to have a coloured border that is separate from your background colour, then consider:
Code:
<table cellpadding="2" cellspacing="0" style="border: solid 1px #000000;">
