Probably because of all the table cells, and you've got rogue code:
"align="center" valign="middle"

and with a design like this you probably shouldn't use percentages

cant really give you a quick fix though, sorry

do it over, but think over what you're gonna do, draw it out on paper first or something, and use pixel widths instead of percentages. The cells are smaller than the images(menu) on the left, and on the right side you've got some useless cells as well.

In general IE will be a little more forgiving of mistakes in your HTML than others. You have 2 different internal style areas and a linked stylesheet. You need to collect that into one so you can tell what you have. You have 3 style definitions for anchors ( the a { } definitions ). You really should define borders, margin, and padding for tables and cells as different browsers assume different default values for these. This should all be done in your linked CSS stylesheet. Your learning so a lot of this is part of that process. Keep chugging and you'll get there.

mozilla seems godzilla like thing.
IMO, develop your site in firefox and test it in different version of IE, Opera & safari etc, I hope you will not experience such problem. Anyway, I think this might help you; http://labs.insert-title.com/labs/Mu...rticle795.aspx

Ok thanks a lot to everybody. I am starting again today and as recommended I am testing the site in FF.

How come if IE is such crap is still around? Shouldn´t all webdesigners get together and do something about this?

Well I am an idealist

Regards and thanks again to everybody.

Iván
