mysql database problem?!

i am trying to install cjoverkill trade script on one of my websites and i cant get it to install, i know that it is not a problem with the script, and i know i have all my mysql information right but when i try to install it it brings this message

error:
could not choose database

what could cause this does anyone know, i am going insane trying to figure this out its driving me nuts

You probably have this in your code:
mysql_select_db($db_database) or die("Could not choose database");

so you should check that
