If a million "smart" people told you that it was o.k. to cut your finger off, would you do it?
What I'm tryign to get accross is that when people judge other people they are no better.
Let me explain this further. If someone judged you regardless of if it's true or not would you like it?
We all need to be more open minded towards each others.

Never said I was any better. According to my religion, we're all equal.

Sorry if I sounded a tad disrespectful (wasn't intended to be). This is a very sensitive subject to me, since every summer I travel around the world working with poor orphans. This is probably the only subject you will see me get heated in.

Open minded means you don't try to force your opinions on others.

john remember that time you gave me the scenerio of seeing a fat woman walking down the street? and you said it wasnt your place to tell her how much you hated fat women?
well thats true, but what if this fat woman kept waving herself in front of you and flirting and generally being a pain in the ass?

Gecko,
I personally have issues with fat women. It's a character flaw. It might even be a psychological problem. I would probably beat the crap out of her and go to jail. But the mature thing to do would be to walk away. By engaging in conflict with the women, I would have proven myself to be a jackass. By walking away, I would have proven myself to be a mature adult.
Which would you do?

It's not really funny. I wish I could get over it, but I see these 450 LBs women in the supermarket, and I get a really unrational anger going on. I don't know why. It's wrong, though. I know that much.

Hey, I don't much care for Mariah Carey either, and I manifest that dislike by not watching or listening to her.
Guess what? I didn't have to listen to her dumb remarks. Works for me.

Hey John, I kind of share your feelings regarding obese women, but I try to view them as three skinny women all stuck in one body, trying frantically to get out, and that makes it seem kind of OK.

Mariah Carrey was good, back in the 1990's.
After her movie "Glitter", everything has went downhill.
Next thing you know, she'll be following in the footsteps of Celine Dion, and start doing music shows at a Las Vegas casino.
Watch out JohnScott, she's comin' your way!!!
