Drop down menu problem in dreamweaver
I just finished a clients web site and he seems to be having problems with it that no one else seems to have. I built it using dreamweaver and used the pop up menu under Behaviors. He says that sometimes when he rolls over the buttons that the menu pops up but there is no text to click on under the menu. I have had a few people look at it and have tried it with different browsers and no one has that same problem. He uses windows XP and internet explorer and then Windows Vista. This is the first site I have done using the pop up menu behavior. If anyone else has experience this problem or if you could look at the site and see if you are also experiencing it this would help out. I dont know what to do if it continues except use some other sort of menu option.... Thanks for any help you can offer.

Hi!
[ I'm using WinXP + IE7 ] So here it goes:
- when the menu pops up and I'm trying to navigate trough it, behind it's displayed (as text) the text from the menu item who is currently hovered...
- This happens to all menus except: "Sales Information", "Instructions", "Technical Information"
- I suggest you should take a very good look again at it, because you have some big problems there.
- Maybe you've forgotten something to set up in DW??

Thanks for looking. I have yet to download IE7 because I have heard so many complaints about it. So it sounds like that could be the problem. Does anyone know why this is happening?

He says there is still a problem on the index page which if it was just IE7 that it was not working on, it works fine on my IE7. Could it be some kind of cookie that is not letting it refresh? Should I have his delete his cookies?

I use Dreamweaver and I had the same issue when doing the web for college, the thing is that you need to redo your work, I am sorry, I know how hard it is, but you need to redo the page that you are having the problem with, try not to make it more than once, what I mean not to delete a lot and make so many changes to the same page, this due to do a lot of problems.
I hope this will help.

At first, I had a lot of problems with Dreamweaver, I think a bug or something, until i took off the Java thing it is working great.
Maybe, I am assuming you had the same problem as mine, you know, when a student like me, we do a lot of changing to get the best as we could, this made my page not working well, even if you using anything, when doing a lot of changes, you get a bug that make the correction worse, so you redo the work and it will work perfectly.
Again, I am just assuming this is the problem, maybe another issue to your case, but it could be it. All the best.

If you're looking for awesome free drop down script. Check this site out http://www.udm4.com . It's even 508 compatible, meaning you can browse the menu w/ keyboard alone.
