First or third person?

The other day, i was analyzing why the majority of my design business comes from word of mouth rather than from my website, and deducted that it's because my website has always been layed out more as a portfolio than as a business site. Now, here's where I'm needing advice: since the site is called killiangrant.com (my name is Killian Grant) and it's a site that promotes MY services as an individual, should I be writing the dialog for my site in first or third person? any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

either should work as long as you have strong copy, and stuff to grab the attention of your visitors.

you have to look at it from your prospects point of view, they don't care who you are, they just want to know "what's in it for me"
Are they going to go to google and search for Killian Grant, no they are going to search for a solution to their problems. If your site presents solutions to their problems, they will find you and they will buy from you. You should always talk about them, not about yourself anyway, so the first or third person won't really apply much.
