Best Portal System?
what's the best portal system to use for a site?
I want to use one for a site that I'm doing but I don't know which is the best and which can be used with phpbb, or invision for that matter.
I'd rather use one that I can use PhpBB off of but Invision would be ok...I just want to know which is the best and where I can get it.

We don't give release dates. When it get's closer I will probably be able to give a time span (1mo/ 2mo). Last I checked, Paul (psoTFX) was spending 8 hours a day on it, so it should be coming along nicely.

I can't find the place to download the portal itself.

The latest version works with phpBB 2.0.6, although it says 2.0.4. (FYI)

Hmmm... I need to brush up on what's new out there.
As I recall, the easiest portal to use for phpbb by far is ezPortal (it's the simplest, no brainer there). You may want to give NutPort a shot for their functionability or MX-System (which seems to be down right now -.- but it combines functionability with no-brainerness).

the only portal I have ever worked with was the smartor phpbb portal and it worked great for me. I say use that but I have never worked with others so I could be very wrong.
