Smile Website Goals, need help organizing my mind

With the newly found web design passion, I have too much excitement that I work long hours, and my mind throttles on the idea of opening up a business. Need your expert advice on the steps to take.

As of now, Im teaching myself via Total Training Videos for CS3 Programs: Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop.

Goals:

Make full-on Flash Websites with Flash intros
Make Shopping Cart Sites
SEO Specialist

There are tons of things to learn in between, and I have a lot of energy to put into this new direction.

However, I don't want to learn things I don't need to, to accomplish these short-term goals.

For example, do i REALLY NEED to learn PHP/Apache/MySQL to make a shopping cart site in Dreamweaver using Webassist.com's eCart?

For Flash sites do I really need to learn about vector graphics, if I want to do other types of web animation/movies?

What kind of Flash stuff do I need to learn? Action Script or Rich Conent in order to do very cool websites like on entheosweb.com?

I need help organizing my mind..it moves too fast for me, and its wants to learn, it wants to be expert at everything..the problem is, its wants it all now.

Would appreciate any expert advice.

Have a good one,

Tammy

In answer to your web programming question, about the PHP, ASP, or whatever, no it isn't REQUIRED, but a basic understanding of a few different web languages will definitely help you out in the long run.

For your question about vector graphics... yes. Any animation that is done in flash that actually turns out decent is designed in flash, which is all vector.
I didn't take the time to look at the "flash" site you provided, i'm on 56k it would take a while probably, but I'm guessing its some fancy long loading site with a bunch of cool effects and such, and yes you do need to learn actionscripting, or at least concepts of it to achieve most advanced things you see done with flash on the net.

Hope that helps a little. Just slow down, learn one thing at a time ;D
