How to save a .swf file ?

Sometimes we just click a play button on a webpage ,
and we can listen the audio.

But how can we save a .swf into my computer
and what program should I use to open ?

You saw an swf by making the thing in flash.

Then just go File >> Export movie

Would this do the job?

I think he wants to know how to pull the file from someone else's website and open it up.

it's allready saved in your tmp or cache folder.

Once you have the file in a proper location say your desktop you have to open it with Flash from macromedia or swish. If the layers and/or movie are password protected then you need to crack the file which is not easy and also almost never give's you an the same result as the original.

This is tough I know but that one of the reasons that I like it so much.

is the macromedia or swish the only program to open it ?

Window Media player, winamp, real one..

nope not possible. This is vector based and not mpeg code so there might be a few others out there that might do it but you'll have to do your research.

You can also do it a more difficult way by viewing the source.

Then create a post here on IMR with the link inserted. Once that is done you can just preview the post. Right click the link and save target as

erm you could just open it with internet explorer

if the file isn't in your temp or cache, you can go into the source code, find the link to the SWF file and paste the URL into a program like FlashGet and download it.

Hello, first of all i`m sorry for my english, it isnt very good.
I see this topic is a bit old but maybe i can get an answer.
