What is your site about?
I'd only use full-out flash sites to make visually attracting sites for bands, photographers and portfolios.
If you are generating traffic for a wide range, or atleast will have older folks, I'd suggest avoiding that.
Macromedia flash added text to appear on their HTML files, so search engines will recognize them - but they are still horrible for SEO.

IMO, Full flash site is not preferable.
Many problems are there with full Flash,
the most one is bandwidth (yours & also visitor's)

Flash site vs not flash site
Full flash site has only one advantage - it looks very attractive, but when it comes to SERP it's very hard to get the results you would like to see.
And here is the issue, search engines prefer textual content, not images, so you should have your content as descriptive as possible for the benefits of your visitors (that's the whole point of SE).
Now it's up to you. If you are able to bring your site directly to your visitors (by email, web directories, other postings, etc.), but not trough the search engines, then you could use a full flash site.
Have a great day,
Peter

hey guys, here is what im took as conclusion.
I am able to bring the traffic to the site so SEO is not really a big thing for me (i know it is but i dont really mind)
i also disagree on the size of flash sites (they are usually small)
but my concern is that will the people i bring on to my site will have access to it ?
i need find out if like 90% of the traffic i bring to my site will be able to see the content if its all flash
and thanks alot guys for the replies it helps me alot

Another question concerns how dynamic the site is. If it needs constant updating than a Flash site will become annoying very soon. I changed my site from a Flash site to a very basic site for this reason alone. I couldn't keep it updated. But it all depends on what you're doing.

It's not diffucult at all to included dynamic content rather than static. You can even build a back-end system to do web-based updates that can propagate through to flash, or just send up new images or xml/txt files to swap content. It all depends on how you build it, not how you're going to use it.

Updating websites are annoying in general.
WHen ever I build a flash site, I try to build it with the ability to update it easier, so I use a lot of movie clips inside movie clips. You usually can just change the content, and have it do all the "actions" you built the site to do.

Another good tip is to break down a site into seperate swf files. Especially so if you'r showcasing a gallery.

its ok to use flash for part of your site, but not all of it, unless its a site that is well known and flash is required for the business to run, so a site like beatport.com as you can see works well with all flash.
