Use of frames

I've read here and elsewhere that the use of frames is no good if you want search engine traffic. I'm trying to learn FrontPage, because it came in the bundle. My first site is experimental before I begin a commercial site (for my Home Inspection business). I don't like the themes because I can't get stuff to go where I want it, so they will be coming down soon. I thought frames is what I needed untill I read the forums. I want to stick with FrontPage untill I learn it better, then move up to something more complex. In the mean time, what should I use for a basic site template in FrontPage? If you visit my site, forgive me, it is bad, but you should be able to see what I'm going for. Thanks

i don't suggest ever getting to know Frontpage... it will screw up your thinking on how to do things and it will never help you learn coding. If you want to learn how to do things... simply browse the web and when you find a site that does stuff like you like... View the Source and see how it's done. That's the easiest way to learn code. If you start with Frontpage... you'll stick with Frontpage. Best of Luck!

If I where you I would not bother learning frontpage at all and go straight for something like Dreamweaver ( www.macromedia.com ) as it is much more powerful and is a hell of a lot easier to use.
