I'm sure you can find a better one
I mean this one is ok but it doesn't have that "thing" that catches the eye, if you know what I mean...

This one could be an option: http://www.templatesflow.com/demo/template/955/
If you want, you can always improve it (that is, change colors, add something or remove something you don't like...)
At least, I like this template

Sounds like you might be better off hiring a professional & having one custom designed specifically for your needs.
Sure, templates are great quick fixes to a low budget issue, but they are not a professional solution. Unless of course you buy one just for the layout aspects of it & then hire a designer to re-do the theme completely giving it a personal branding touch for your business.
Just my opinion, good luck to you.

1.) Free template & you re-design it yourself (Requires knowing Computer languages)
2.) Free or Low cost Template & you pay a designer $50.00 - $200.00 to do a basic modification for you.
3.) Free, Low cost, High-end Template & you pay a designer $300.00 - $1,000.00 to completely redesign & brand it for you.
4.) $500.00 - $5,000.00 (Or More) & have a complete website designed for you.
The prices I used fluctuate due to the fact that all designers are not created equal & there prices are all different. The outline is to simply give you an idea of what your options are.
Its up to you to choose the best solution for you.
I wish you luck...

I think it's pretty good. If you want maybe just change some of the colors (like the green to a lighter blue or something). What you are doing here I feel, will be the main attracting factor.
Go with your gut. Best wishes!

Yeah, Costin Trifan suggested a good template. Or, maybe this one http://www.templatesflow.com/demo/template/599/ (BTW, same designer as your first template).
I understand that you are running a philanthropic project to help orphan kids? If so, I will be happy to help you to fit a template if you want to make some changes.
