need some help

Hey guys i want to start a etail store and i dont have alot of money 120 is about all iv got but im looking into making a decent site for the store , only thing is i know nothing about making a website. Ive tried using freewebs but that will look cheap and not well made i realy would like to have a site liek gogamer.com i love their layout if anyone can help me make one or point me to a tutorial much thanks.

Does your budget include also your domain and hosting cost? If so, best that you really make your own template/web design - but this is no easy task for a newbie

indeed it does i was looking else where someone tool me officelive is a good place to start but i dunno . I know using dreamweaver and stuff would help but like you said not an easy task for a newbie like myself anything you can suggest?

Not and easy task but not impossible either.

Take a scrap paper and pencil to create a layout.

Now use Photoshop to create the background images used in different places, then use HTML/CSS to implement visual presentation.

It may take some time but not impossible.

these guys are right, the best way is to get cracking and learn, especially if you're confident in your ability to learn? you will get so much more from your site if you understand the html it includes, tis will help you in meeting a good user-experience standard.

The below link will show you how to create good content boxes but that might me jumping the gun, you might want to start with some good basics, there's zillions of tutorials just do a search fo 'basic HTML tutorials' or something of the like...
