the reason i like 1001font.com is because you can view then in categories.

Class when you know what kinda font your after, and you can view loads of similar ones together, i love it!

And the fonts they do have are every bit as cool and usable as the commercial ones for 20 bucks elsewhere.

Yeah 1001freefonts is nice, but personally I prefer dafont as FuSion said, as far as I can ever see on 1001freefonts they are only categorised into letters, but on dafont they are categorised into type e.g. pixel, bitmap etc.

Nice, davey, bookmarked it. It looks pretty much the same as dafont in categories, but it may have a few gems in there.

i used to have about 25,000 or summat, hated it! Too many to go through. So now, i keep about 100 or so. If i feel i need another font i'll happily go and look for one suitable.

the problem with that is that the file would be a couple hundred megabytes...way too big.
