Ringtone and Wallpaper Site

Hi Everyone,

I have been thinking about making a cell phone ringtone and wallpaper site, but I have no idea what's involved legal wise. My idea is to have it be totally user oriented, meaning all ringtones and wallpapers on the site will have been uploaded by members.

I know Shoemoney has a site, www.nextpimp.com, and he also has adsense on there. Does anyone know how he is able to offer all those ringtones for free?

Ringtones can be made from any digital recordings. Why not create your own and encourage "members" to do the same.

nothing legal really, as long as its not full songs I think. If theres something illegal to it- theres always different things you can do to manipulate laws lol. For example that whole thing with peekvid.com (sued for linking to copyrighted content) well you could link to a page in between the copyrighted content by using a service like tinyurl. I don't know if that would circumvent the law exactly, but you get my point.
