Hi,
I was wondering if any one has used fantastico ? and if you have what you thought of it. I am hoping to use it with Joomla , i am a novice in this area of web design.

After you install Joomla! with Fantastico, check to be sure that it is the most recent version. I found that Fantastico was always a version or two behind.

Either upgrade the Fantastico version if required, or manually install the latest Joomla! release from their website. Being a novice, as you have stated, the Fantastico route would likely be best for you.
