Getting information from a new client.

Sometimes I have trouble collecting information from a new web design client
Maybe a form for them to fill out. (target audience, sites you like, purpose of site...)

How do you go about collecting data from your clients so when you create something for them their going to like it?

we have creative brief forms for web and print, self-audit form (web), and a site plan template available for prospective and current clients to download from our site to aid them and us in their project conception and implementation. we've only used them a few times since they've been implemented but, have proven to be essential in not only developing detailed quotes, but also in determining what our clients needs are. you can take a look yourself here: http://www.3howards.com/solutions.htm and clicking on the 'Forms" link on the right submenu.

hope this helps

i will send you the files, but do know that the original layout and content belong to my company ... you have to change it to fit your requirements not just replace the logo and information with yours. i normally wouldn't give this out, but i'll make an exception this one time. on that note, i'm sending you just the creative brief. since you do have pagemaker, you can develop the other files on your own, it's not too difficult, just time-consuming.

Sure. If you do want to send them all, I'll completely change them to not resemble your at all. But thanks for one anyway. It's a great idea.
