Where the hell is my title tag located ?

Hello everyone,

I'm new in this forum

If someone could help me out, it would be great !!!

I want to change the title tag and meta tags of my homepage, so I went in FTP ( from which all my website files get transferred to the server ), tryed to find the file , and found one called "header_tags.php" ( which is located in the server in " /public_html/includes/languages/english" ; cuz my website is in both english and french), I opened it with Dreamweaver, and changed the title tag, the meta description tag, and the meta keywords tag.

I uploaded the new updated "header_tags.php" in the server ( again through FTP), and refreshed my homepage : the title tags did not change :'(

I deleted my cookies and history and temporary files, but it still did not show the change.
I did the change yesterday afternoon.

I'm not very familiar with informatics, this is all new for me. Was the change that I made (in "header_tags.php") the only one I had to do ?

I also have a file called " index.php" , which is basically my homepage info.

What did I do wrong or what did I forget to do ?

I think that this "header_tags.php" file was not the only one supposed to be changed as you already guessed

try to change them (or add them if they don't exist) in your "index.php" file also.
