how to change forum order? [pls hlp me]

Hai everybody..
i am a newbie to v7n.com
i want some helps.. i hope somebody can help me..

i am running a phpbb2 forum board.. i just want to change my mainpage style.
( index.tpl file) normaly all forum boards showing forum order verticaly.. i want tto change my forum ordr verticay to horizontaly.. i removed, forum description, lst topic, lst poster options such things , i just want forum secion name there

now my forum index page looking..



and i want to change ike this.

2 or 3 forum name in one row


is there anyway to modify like this...
pls help me dear freinds...
(I hope I explained that clearly enough ).
Any help will be much appreciated!
