DZOIC Handshakes: Anyone using it?

Hi all,

We're considering DZOIC Handshakes for an upcoming social network. Has anyone here had experience with it?

Please post comments on good/bad experiences with Handshakes, i.e. something more than "Joomla's better, just use that.". We are also looking at Joomla and Drupal, but I really need to hear from those of you that are familiar with Handshakes.

Here's one I found with a quick search - Interesting

I've paid $349 for the latest version 2.0. Nice software, good customer service but it's not worth a penny and don't buy it if you really want to make ANY modifications to it. Their website says you can make ANY modifications and their software license is misleading and is misrepresented. After you introduce your new design and spend time on making custom changes, they contact you and tell you to keep their original logo in it's original place and link it to their website on all of your pages.
