Frames Question...

hi,

I am new here, i have a question abt frames. I am designing a site with a frameset of top and main frames. The problem i am facing is that there is a space between the top frame and main frame which is just spoiling the look of the site. I have tried many ways to over come this but no go. There is always a space if 5 to 10 pixels in between the top frame and main frame whenever viewed in the browser.

Here is an example of the site.

and this is the look i am trying to get with the frames.

All the help would be much appreciated..

Thanks in advance...

Thakkenc.....

Are you nuts - Back in the mid 90's maybe - if you want a header and footer use and include.....

But why? don't do that,

put the mouse down, raise your hands and slowly step away from the computer....

No frames

As far as I know the search engines can not read the text displayed in a frame

Without readable text on your site you will never get search engine traffic

Do Not Use Frames

They do but the fame with no links may get indexed and then your visitors never see your site or no way to get into it

Yes you can use frames but it's best to use them if you know what you're doing and then only in certain circumtances.

if you use php i would create a template file that would consist of header file and footer file, frames are not really accepted anymore, if you create a template file you could get the same feel of frames just save some space on your sever.
