Thoughts on .mobi

Hey gang, so I am venturing into the .mobi design work starting with my own business mobi sites..and am finding that some of the information that I find is a little outdated. I have found the dev.mobi site and found one other .mobi site that I can access on the web. but other than the links on the second .mobi site i found there isn't really alot of info. So I was wondering if by chance any of you have done this, or your thoughts on the .mobi in general.
Plus, I am wondering just how much information those little phones can really handle? I mean..can I sneak some flash elements to the page design or would that be to much of a cost for the user?
