I have a web business (
www.maximum-velocity.com) that uses a shopping cart for orders. When the purchaser has 'cookies' disabled in their web browser, only one item can be put in the shopping cart. I understand the reason for this, but of course it is futile to try to explain the reason to the customer. As far as their are concerned our shopping cart is 'broken'.
But when I go to Amazon.com and other major sites, the shopping cart still works even when cookies are disabled. Evidently, there is another way to code a shopping cart that does not rely on cookies. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks!
