Email blast HTML coding for images – How to make them pop up.

Ok well I have been taking care of a couple different email blasts. Making them in dreamweaver. Someone told me that some of the email blasts (from other companies) when they open the email the images are all visable and loaded. The email looks great. But when he receives an email from our company he has to click “load images” or something of that sort. I guess there must be some different way of embedding an image into a HTML email to get this result? Anyone have any idea??

OK. Basically, if he has to click on the message, 'click here to download them' it's becase he his behind greater email security at clientside. Basically it sounds like your companies domain name is on not on his safe senders list.

you should only use JPEG images for email shots and not gif,png etc.

You have to accept that if he's recieving mail to a domain other than hotmail, yahoo, google etc, then his exchange/mail server will have security and your unknown domain will need to be classified for them.

There are design rules for making HTML emails, however that gets a bit off topic. You should search for 'support for HTML emails' or something similar- you will find out what you need to know.

Ive read some things about MIME emails....and also about either attaching an image to the actual email or just linking to an external image.. anyone think either of these are related?
