As far as I see there are no real chances to speed up website submission to DMOZ!

How to get your site listed FOUR times faster!. 2005 data but I doubt if the stats have changed much since then.

Also, many editors cherry pick from the pool of websites awaiting evaluation. An attempt at a guidelines compliant title and description shouts out 'pick me, pick me'. A bunch of KW stuffed hype doesn't.

It's human nature really. If an editor has only limited time to work in a category, he's going to process the listing suggestions that look as if they'll need less work because he'll then be more productive .
