Lazy DMOZ editors...
It ticks me off how some DMOZ editors are lazy and we lose spots in that directory because of it. Look at this for example:
http://www.dmoz.org/Arts/Music/Bands.../N/Nickelback/
I submitted there quite a while ago and no response, however, I'm an editor over at musicmoz, and look at what I've gotten done:
http://musicmoz.org/Bands_and_Artist...kelback/Links/
Everyone who has submitted to me has gotten a response and within a couple days, I think there should be some kinda filter that if dmoz editors dont get their work done, they should be sent in the other direction. There is no reason the directory should just sit on a stand still because people just leave.

How can the Google Directory have you but not the DMOZ?
The Google Directory uses the DMOZ's directory for it's directory, with a few sturtural changes.

If you're searching in the Google directory, you are not getting pure directory listings. This was noticed about a week ago.

Well I also did a search under the software category, but didn't look through the category, and found my site under the search results

I've only dealt with DMOZ a little bit, but I have been happy with them so far. I submitted my CSS site to them and 5 days later it was added to http://dmoz.org/Computers/Data_Forma...als/Tutorials/
I'm guessing DMOZ has some lazy editors and it has some good ones.
