Duplicate Links - Dmoz
Is it true that Dmoz will not list your site if you have one duplicate links.

I have associate college who is adviseing me on why my is not being listed in dmoz after trying for 6 - 8 months.

Bascailly he said if you have duplicate links in your directory DMOZ will not list you or even reply to your entry?

can someone shed some light on the duplicate links!

what do you mean by duplicate links?

some sites have many pages listed in DMOZ

Do you mean the directory on your own site has duplicate links in it? Or are you talking about duplicate listings in dmoz?

you do not need to keep resubmitting. each time you submit the new date is attached to your site and some editors sort via sumbission date.

I wanted to find out the truth from the nonsence Aaron regarding this duplicate linking info:

For instance if you link to a site that sells search engine optimisation from your search engine optimisation page and they also do internet marketing and for some reason later you add them to your internet marketing section then the problem is apparent!

think of it this way. some sites sell sitewide link advertising to other sites and are listed in dmoz.
