Seekon: is it worth it?
The only place I could imagine putting my education sites in seekon is http://www.seekon.com/Soc/Reference/ which has hundreds of crazy weird links totally unrelated to my site. Should I just skip it or is a one way link always good?

It's not going to hurt, although there are a lot of links on that page. What's with all the mapsofindia.com links?

it usually does not hurt then either.

I could sign your site up against your will and get you a link there. do you think the search engines would penalize you for that one link that points toward your site that you have no control over?
