The bsubmit tools are pretty good. Just one thing they are VERY picky on how you submit the site. It goes through a review process that can take up to 7 days. Overall not bad.

lots of people forget search is a business...some of the transparency shows when people who are creating an engine are also directly offering tips on how to improve rankings.

Which one? They have a few depending on which service you are using.

You are the one that said it wasn't working. Were you talking about another tool other than the one's for MSBD? I think the thread got off topic the original post was about Microsoft's Small Business Directory and NOT submi-it[com].
You need to be a bCentral member to access the one's I am referring to.

After you purchase access to MS bCentral and you log in click on the Position Agent area. or the Submit It service. They both have a Keyword research tool.
The cost of this comes with the $299/yr service. I am not aware of a free service if that's what you are looking for.

Well that was a waste of time!
I decided to see what this was all about so I figured I'd submit a site.
They want you to optimize your site and follow their directions before they'll accept it. Sorry, but I don't have the time to fiddle with the site just so it can be included in their directory.
It could take hours- I just don't see the point!
That was $50.00 down the drain. Oh well, At least I know now.

Dude, you don't have to optimize anything. They know that their spidersd are ancient. You can just ignore their warning and go ahead and submit. All my sites their system said were not ready but I ignired all that and submitted my sites anyway and got approved.

Yeah, I see that now. But they don't give you that option during the initial process.
I had to leave and go back before the actual option to submit was available.
Whatever! We'll see what happens.

Yeah well, you can't expect Microsoft to do anything right do you?
I have yet to see them do ANYTHING proper. I am a MCSE and I love NT for security on Lans but when it comes to quality Microsoft has NEVER had anything with real quality.
