Is the money worth?
I tried to register in some directories.
They were asking money for it.
Will i get the required results worth the money?

A bit of a loaded question since there are so many scam, fly by night directory operators charging fees to be listed in virtually empty directories. If you pay for submission and want some value for your money you’re going to need to stick with long and well established directories.

I agree with Stoner. I use to submit to all kind of directories a while ago, and the long and well established directories stay there years after years.
If you are submitting on small directories, do it when they are free or new. There are good small directories, only a small quantity will stay in business for a long time depending on how the directory owner promote it.

Look for directories that have both PR and traffic if you're going to spend money. In addition, you want to try and find directories that have the page where you'll be listed indexed in Google. Do a google search for a snippet of text on the page. If it comes up then that directory is worth a bit of cash since you'll probably get a hit or two to your site in addition to the SERPs benefit.

No, you won't get money worth results.
Best you will get is 1 backlink per pop and if you think that smart money say it worth it,
then by all the means go for it.
What happened to Free directories on your list?
Did you finished submitting to them already?

I never tried using paid directory. Since I'm just submitting my handled sites in a free one. And I'm happy with the result. So why don't you submit your site in a free one. Then, if you're done with it, try some different process that you can gain your backlinks.

You have to chose those with high quality if you need to pay.

Yeah, don't pay for a directory submission. Always use the free listings, as the listings are only good for backlinks these days.

I think it can be worth paying for some directories but you really need to check their background before doing so - always think about how many visitors you might generate as a result.

Just because one incompetent idiot published something and then a dozen of lazy idiots who are too stupid to do their own research published the same as their own, doesn't mean that garbage they C & P is acceptable.

Deep link directories seem to provide some value. At least you get 5 links for the price of one.
