Why not search the forums for "dofollow directory" and/or "dofollow directories" as this has been covered before? Some folks advertise their do/nofollow policies as well.

You wont achieve decent results if you dont put in the hard yards. You need to search for quality and do everything manually.

If everything is so great being done by software or auto tools, why do all the SEO Gurus and SEO Experts do everything manually and with so much thought?

You need to remember that you are competing against the best, so you need to strive to BE the best and DO the best that you can. There is no GOOD easy way........but there are many BAD easy methods.

Well said, Snooks. Backlink building, and SEO in general, is very time consuming and work-intensive when done properly. That is why those at the top are there - they put in the elbow grease necessary.

If it were easy, everyone would get page 1 rankings at will.

Some of them give you do-follow backlinks, some not. And don't forget about the quality of backlinks - one PR3 backlink is much better than 100's of PR0.

You're right but.... first they need to learn that there is not such a thing as dofollow tag.
