Top Web Directories List

I was wondering about one of the directories suggested in the Top Web Directories list at the top of this forum, the internal pages of thisisouryear all seem to all have pr of zero. Is this directory still worth submitting to ? Also another directory i was considering was www.seoma.net(2 sites for $15), any opinions ?

My PR bar shows thisisouryear pages at PR 5. I think it is an excelelnt value. I also list my sites in Seoma. 7.50 is inexpensive, and when you buy additional credits it's even cheaper. I bought 25 credits (I'm trying to use them, but that's a lot and I ahve some left - gotta go do something about that) for 105.00 or something - very inexpensive.

Thanks, I was using a website called checkpagerank to check the the thisisouryear pages. Ill download the the pr bar. Any other opinions on these directories would be appreciated.

The only problem i see with seoma is that you cant choose any anchor text, there is just a "click to visit" link.

Carole, you would find the www.strongestlinks.com/directories.php directory list useful.

I kinda wondered what is more important, the Alexa ranking, saturation or PR ?

There all important in some way. I guess it would depend on why your wanting to purchase the link. If it's for direct traffic purposes, then you would go for a directory with a fairly high Alexa ranking as they are most likely higher traffic sites. If its for search engine ranking benefits, then the PageRank on the particular page you are going to submit to is important. Just make sure the directory provides normal direct links, not some redirected link.
