How to submit?
Website description, keywords and anchor text
When submitting to web directories you should first take good care in writing a description for your website, find related keywords and write an anchor text. Then decide in which category your website is the most relevant.

Tip, try searching on google: "main keyword" + site:dmoz.org (for instance http://www.google.com/search?q=%22in...ite%3Admoz.org) this way you’ll find matching categories for your website.

If the specific category isn't in the web directory, try emailing the owner or find related categories in that directory to submit your website in that category. Don’t submit your website to the free web directories when it’s not finished yet.

Submission tip:
Using IE Browser:
Use the toolbar from http://www.roboform.com/ with this toolbar you can easily store forms. So when submitting your website to a web directory, you only have to find the correct category then hit a button on the toolbar to automatically fill in the forms.

Using FF Browser:

Nice list. Oddly enough the list you post on other forums is identical except for the exclusion of SevenSeek.

A post about web directory lists on another forum (DP) was made several months ago. I used that post as a basis for the post on this forum. My only intention is to share my information with you guys. Leaving out sevenseek at the other post was not intented. Although I'm curious what will be the next move of sevenseek to gain (new) more popularity.

All of the V7 Network sites - V7N, BlueFind & SevenSeek - are getting quite a bit of attention this upcoming year. We have been adding a lot to V7N, and will be promoting SevenSeek and V7N very heavily in the new year.

There are also some drastic changes in the works for BlueFind.
